The goal i have set for myself is easy to say but will be challenging to complete. My goal is to be the first one to graduate from college, It might be hard but i’m motivated not to stop until i accomplish it. Being the first one to finish college will be a tremendous personal accomplishment for me, which is my main goal in my early life. I would like to get a career even if the career is small like a mechanic. My goal is to avoid working in the fields where the pay is low, and to get a well paid job so that i start giving back to my parents that have gave me more than i can ask for.
My main motivation i have for completing college is for my myself but primarily for my parents. For my parents, me completing college would mean the world to them. Seeing one of your sons complete college and knowing they have a greater possibility to succeed in life with almost a secured future. My parents have worked their entire life so that i can not repeat their steps and get a better job without me breaking my back in the field. As a young, one of the obstacles i overcame was learning two languages at once. I learned english and spanish at the same time and now i’ve embrace them and i’m working in mastering both. Throughout my young life, i have accomplished some early but important goals already in my life. For example, i’ve accomplished my goal of graduating from my elementary school and being able to get to high school. My next goal in mind is to graduate from high school and proceed to college. The persons that have helped me complete my goal throughout my life have been teachers i’ve had in the past, and most importantly my parents have helped me accomplish my goals. On the other hand, i have also helped people accomplish their goals. I helped my cousin learn english and showed him around his new home city when he barely came to the United States. My cousin was about six and i was around the same age i was about five. i showed around, and practiced english with him as we grew up and eventually he learned english very well and learned every place around lindsay. Furthermore, I have pushed and convinced many of my fellow peers to finish their classes by encouraging them to turn in their work and get it done. Advice i would give other people to accomplish their goals, would be to not give up even if they feel like it’s impossible to accomplish it. Also, i would say that the biggest mistake you can do in live is procrastinating. Don’t leave something you can do today for tomorrow because it can haunt you for the rest of your life. Throughout these four years at Lindsay High School i have procrastinated a lot and have realized that it actually does come back to you to haunt you and makes your life a whole lot harder at school. When you procrastinate you end up with double the work, and now im learning you should never leave something you can do today for tomorrow. In conclusion, i will graduate from high school and proceed to college even if there are many challenges i have to get through i will get it done. |
